Style: blush shirt and blue jeans.

A shirt and a pair of jeans are en total no-brainer in my eyes, and it’s often what my everyday uniform consists of (okay, who am I kidding – that’s my uniform always), besides of course a blazer, a t-shirt and a pair of jeans. It just works. That’s why I am extra happy I’m reunited with my blush shirt this season, that I have had I storage for some time. It’s a couple years old, but I have found a nice alternative in the bottom of this post – one that is even made I recycled polyester.

I wore this outfit last weekend when we met up with some good friends for dinner and board games and I felt SO amazing in this! Don’t you know that feeling? Some outfits just give you a feeling of empowerment, so I just know this look will be a favourite all spring. I like it both for an everyday look and for an evening look too. I could easily just add my vintage pumps and I’d be ready to take on the dance floor.

When it comes to light and slightly see-through shirt and blouses like this one, my best tips is a pair of high waist jeans (just because they cover a bit more of your tummy) and a nude bra like this one from Organic Basics. Some shirts just doesn’t seem to work with a cami underneath even though they are a bit see-through. But again, that is where a nude bra really comes in handy, especially if you’re going for the most discrete solution. Of course you could wear a black lace bra too, that would be a lovely, feminine detail but maybe a little less discrete and suitable for a day on the office.

    Signe,
Based on your view on this shirt and color, I bought a similar one – and truly LOVE it! This was the best recommendation for Spring! Thank you, Signe. Your style is wonderful and I have really enjoyed learning from you!
