Hang your clothes to dry.

/ Today I would like to share a practical trick with you, which I use everytime I wash my clothes. I have most of my clothes hanging on hangers in my closet, except for knitwear (don’t ever hang that) and basic tanks. It makes it easy for me to see what I have in my closet; no products stored at the bottom of a pile for weeks and most notably, I think the clothes are less wrinkly and generally in a nicer condition when I pull it out in the morning.

/ Because all my clothes are kept on hangers in my closet, I actually also put it on hangers when I have to dry it after washing. This smoothes out the clothes in their natural shape, and once it’s dry – well, it’s just so easy to hang it straight into the closet! No folding or anything. It’s not all clothes that can be hung up this way, but shirts, t-shirts and jersey sweaters can easily. I always flat-dry my knitwear as illustrated below. They become quite heavy when they are wet and are stretched too much if they are hung up. By hanging the clothes in this way it is not only easier to put it back into my closet, but you also avoid quite a lot of ironing. Of course, I like to iron my shirts, but if you make sure you shake the wet clothes well and smooth it out before hanging it up, you can avoid a lot of it. Win!
